Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct proof of concept.
  • Conduct meetings to gather requirements, design complex Oracle Application extensions.
  • Manage on-shore and offshore development Teams.
  • Manage full life cycle development of complex projects using Oracle SDLC.
  • Perform project management for all technology aspect of the project.
  • Approve all the design and development work. Approve integration work with non-Oracle software.
  • Collaborate with PMO, off-shore development team and functional on-site team to architect solutions.
  • Conceptualize technical and functional solution for Online Transaction Processing, Online Analytic Processing, Client Server and Web environments.
  • Use Oracle development tools, UNIX, Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Perform through analysis of the proposed conversion and extensions strategy.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus five (5) years of related experience.
  • Understanding of Oracle application Architecture.
  • Must have the ability to make functional contributions.
  • Must have worked in a collaborative environment with an offshore development group and have working knowledge and best practices in this environment.
  • Oracle Applications experience in HCM (such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self Service, Oracle Framework).
  • Must be able to create and manage Project plans unsung MS Projects.
  • Must be able to use various technical management tools using Oracle AIM, Oracle OUM and Oracle Application SDLC.
  • Must have understanding of CMMI practices.
  • Experience related to Oracle Applications development.
  • Technical knowledge of programming languages, including Oracle PL/SQL and Java.
  • Solid database and operating systems experience with Oracle, UNIX, and Microsoft NT.
  • Thorough Architecture level understanding of platforms, such as Oracle Applications.
  • Project management skills.
  • Extensive travel to client sites required.
