Job Summary: 
 
The basic requirements include a strong command of the Java platform and tools with at six or more years of building Java applications. At least two or more must be using Oracle Technology Stack including Oracle Cloud Middleware. Must have strong knowledge and expertise in Service Oriented Architecture concepts and experience with Oracle SOA Suite. The role is to understand requirements, design solution and head the delivery of the project. It also includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle. The ability to make functional contributions will make a difference in evaluating candidates. Candidates should have worked in a collaborative environment with an offshore development group and have working knowledge and best practices in this environment.
Experience in an Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable.
 
During the interview candidates should be able to discuss:
  • How to design and work with Java Enterprise Applications
  • How to design Services Oriented Integration Processes
  • How to create and deploy Java applications using jDeveloper
  • How to monitor and debug Oracle Cloud Middleware stack
  • How to design User interface using Oracle ADF
  • PL/SQL package usage and performance techniques
  • Oracle® database concepts
Requirements for the Job:
  • University degree in the field of computer science or software engineering
  • Strong experience in Java, JSP, Struts, EJB and J2EE framework, SOA projects
  • Experience in Oracle Technologies such as ADF, Toplink, BC4J,Jdeveloper, OC4J and BPEL
  • Strong database and operating systems experience with Oracle®, UNIX and Microsoft® NT
  • Thorough understanding of platforms such as Oracle Cloud Middleware
  • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
  • Highly logical

  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Duties consistent with Oracle consulting, including but not limited to:
    • Identifying business requirements and mapping them to Oracle Application functionality.
    • Identifying functionality gaps and developing solutions to them.

    • Writing business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions, and writing end-user documentation and training materials.
